How to get almost any pokemon in Diamond and Pearl (unsure about Platinum):

What you'll need:
- A DS lite or a DS
- A gameboy
- A gameshark (cheap)
- Sapphire/Ruby/Emerald

What you do:

1- Place the Sapphire/Ruby/Emerald game into the gameshark, and the gameshark into the gameboy.

2- Turn on the gameboy.

3- Go to the game you have placed into the gameshark on the list and select the pokemon you like. You have a choice between LV 50 and 100. Also turn on the unlimited masterball cheat.

4- Start the game. Go to the nearest grass. In the next battle, the pokemon you chose will be in battle. Use a masterball on it.

5- Repeat steps 2-4 until you have all of the pokemon you need.

6- Migrate the pokemon to Diamond/Pearl.

There are no guarantees for shiny Pokemon, but there is an extra cheat for all shiny, I believe. This guide was made by Demosthenes.

yes but these are true shiny pokemon, gotten by pure luck. (NOT GAMESHARKED or HACKED)

I remember I got a shiny spheal (I believe) in sapphire. It was awesome, because I encountered it, it got away, and then I encountered it again. I then caught it. But then, I didn't realize the value of shiny pokemon.

And I didn't have a gameshark then.

Wow its too bad because i would of wanted that spheal
